"A credit to the hospital"

About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Gynaecology

(as the patient),

I was an inpatient last week at Forth Valley Royal Hospital in Ward 6 (Gynecology) following a hysterectomy.  I wanted to express my deepest thanks and admiration to the staff who cared for me during my time there.  From the consultant and his theatre staff to the nurses and auxiliary staff who could not have been more caring and attentive.

Their professionalism is second to none and I felt respected and secure.  The staff in the Ward were so welcoming and friendly and always had time to have a wee chat whilst going about their duties.

The Staff are a credit to the hospital and the NHS.  My daughter is a first year nursing student and I couldn't be prouder of the profession she has chosen.

Dear Dee47

Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback. It is fantastic to hear that you received great care from everyone and that you were treated with respect and dignity. Friendly, caring and approachable staff can make all the difference as being in hospital can be a very anxious time.

I know the Senior Charge Nurse has shared your posting with all staff who thank you and send their best wishes.

I hope you are recovering well from your operation and that your daughter is using her newly acquired nursing skills to help speed up your recovery!

Once again many thanks for your lovely words, they are greatly appreciated.

With best wishes

Gail
