About: University Hospital Monklands / General Surgery (Wards 4 & 7)

(as a relative),

My mum recently had surgery in monklands and received gold standard care 

Every member of staff she met was kind considerate 

As an nhs employee I hoped everything would go well and was not disappointed 

Thanks to all the breast team and the staff of ward 4

Dear Smiddy

Thank you very much for taking the time to tell us about the gold standard care that your mum received during her recent stay in Ward 4. As an NHS employee yourself, you will be acutely aware how daunting an experience it can be for patients coming into hospital and I am pleased that the staff in Ward 4 and the Breast Team were able to make this a positive experience for you and your mum.

I will make sure that your comments are passed on to the staff in Ward 4 and the Breast Team and hope that your mum is recovering well after her surgery.
