What I liked
I visited this hospital after badly hurting my Ankle at work, I checked in at reception and the receptionist was concentrating more of the staff party coming up rather than my care! I could barely walk at this stage and got offered a wheelchair to assist me.
Once I had waiting 11/2hrs I got seen by one of the nurses, they examined my Ankle and insisted I walk on it although I couldn't put any weight on it, they quickly determined that it was sprained, didn't offer any support to go onto it to help it heal but instead just sent me on my way saying if it isn't better in 5 days to return!
Being very unhappy with this result I then had to suffer through the night in excruciating pain, in the morning my partner decided that we needed to go to Medway Hospital, they were very helpful and after an X-Ray which wasn't offered at this hospital that my Ankle was in fact fractured and was then put into a plastercast.
What could be improved
Nurses in A&E more considerate and listen to their patients
"Disappointing"
