Apart from the fact that a doctor of old, the much missed previous doctor, was a great help & almost a friendi as far as my late mother was concerned in years gone by we (my wife & myself) have found the team to be helpful. An early morning urgent appointment was arranged between my wife & the doctor in the early 2000s after I'd fallen over at home. It was quickly diagnosed by the doctor & a colleague, I can't remember who, that I'd actually fractured my skull & they speedily organised an ambulance to pick me up from the surgery.

More recently, due to variation in tablet pack sizes, I requested a part repeat prescription in order to put my supply of tablets back in order. This was speedily dealt with and the required tablets were available for pick-up from Boot's virtually immediately allowing for the week-end being in the way between the request and availability.

I've even, in the past, had medication changed by working in tandem with the team to monitor the impact of an alternative to one medicine that was seeming to cause undesirable side-effects despite the initial medication being, I think, preferred by the treating doctor.

For assistance, personal & family related in the past, and for the most recent injection of extra tablets to balance the inequality of pack sizes a big thanks to the team at Eastview Surgery.
