"Poor communication, I gave up on dignity..."

About: Yeovil District Hospital

What I liked

Initial reception and registration was professionally and quickly handled. Staff that finally gave treatment were helpful and friendly.

What could be improved

Communication between staff, and with patients and their families.

Maintaining patient dignity.

Satisfactory level of treatment prior to discharge (being forcibly discharged at 0300 while still bleeding from the original wound is not ideal)

Correct staff for the job

The Trust strongly supports the principles of iCARE around Communication, Attitude, Respect & Environment and takes all feedback very seriously.

We would like to work with you to resolve your concerns and would ask you to contact Ali Male, Patient Advice & Liaison Service (PALS) Officer on 01935 384706.
