"They work their socks off"

About: Worcestershire Royal Hospital / Accident and emergency

Dad was admitted via 999 with chest pain, we arrived to a full ED department an a packed corridor.

From the moment we met, staff were working hard to prioritise, organise tests an organise the cases within the department.

Working as a nurse myself ( not at wrh) you understand the difficulties within a stretched service but my god they are up against it here. Despite this, the staff smiled, were helpful and I didn’t see them sit down once.

Without this hard work an dedication we would be at crisis point.

Worcester royal hospital rarely gets good press an they should. It’s a stretched service but they are working tirelessly to provide good standards of care an outcomes for Worcestershire’s most sick an vulnerable.

I cannot thank the doctors an nurses enough, I am so proud of our service.

Keep up the hard work xx
