I woke up coughing out blood and blood running out of my right nostril. On arrival I was quickly seen - vitals checked and passed on to the Major Incident department.
All staff at all times were courteous and helpful, I spent a long time in there but this was to ensure all appropriate tests including a chest ct scan were done, before diagnosis and treatment.
I'm grateful for the excellent quality of care from consultants to the porters. In particular two members of staff (both in the ambulatory unit) showed dedication to their jobs, while making us smile despite the health reasons that brought us there.
Two little things please
1. Can sanitisers be put in the waiting area in the ambulatory unit?
2. Can the two toilets have pegs to hang items like coats?
If these are there and I missed them, my sincere apologies.
Thank you.
"Excellent care from A&E and Ambulatory Units"
