"Parking Eye will give you a parking ticket there"

About: Sunderland Royal Hospital

I received 70 pounds parking charge notice from Parking Eye despite paying right fee for my car parking. You assume that typing your number plate on the parking ticket means that your ticket is safe in computer database...

I paid for parking in cash and did not care to keep the ticket. A month later (!!) , time suufficient for everyone to dispose their paper tickets, I received a demand to pay 70 pounds fine. Fortunately I found the actual ticket, fishing it out of my recycle bin, yet it did not help with my appeal!!

As it appears, at first they demanded I pay parking fine of 70 pounds because I did not pay for parking while knowing I have paid and hoping I did not keep my ticket. . After I gave them my ticket, they now charge me for overstaying for few minutes. IMy doctor was late for the appointment, it is why I overstayed. Not for a joy of being at Sunderland Hospital.

I would ask to be rtansferred to other NHS Hospital. I can not afford to pay 70 pounds everytime I park there.I can not afford to be an easy pray for Parking Eye.

I'm very sorry to hear that this situation has cause you distress. If you have a valid ticket for the time that you parked, you can appeal using the details on your PCN. You can also pay for your parking when you return to your car in the future so you only pay for the time that you have parked and can avoid worrying about being delayed.
