I’d never been in an ambulance or to hospital in my life until recently when I had a seizure at work. It lasted for quite some time and then there was a period of about an hour after that where I didn’t know who I was or were I was. I was angry and confused and, based on what people said, also quite violent.
The two paramedics were nothing but kind to me and I didn’t have to be embarrasses or sorry about anything. I was very scared in the ambulance and Steve was kind and helpful. His colleague, a blonde haired women, was driving.
On top of that the next day I was still in hospital and I went outside to meet a friend who had a bag of clothes for me, as I had arrived with nothing, and the same paramedics spotted me and came over to see how I was doing and check up on me. I am sure they have much better thing to do then check on a man who they last saw covered in his own filth, so it was very much appreciated!
I can’t thank them enough. I am in awe of what they do, and because of them I am still around to kiss my kids. Thank you.
