"Outpatient waiting times"

All my recent referral from Consultants to other departments have been a minimum of a 4 month wait. Just a rubbish Trust for providing srrvices. CQC 'needing improvement' is a massive understatement!

Orthoptics is taking the biscuit. I waited 1 day less than 18 weeks. I saw a lovely and very helpful lady, but she's now referred me to Opthalmology, another 8 weeks, then I need to see her again, another 6-8 weeks I assume. So to get, hopefully but not definitely, a DIAGNOSIS, is looking like an incredible EIGHT MONTHS!!

8 months before you start treating someone. Just not acceptable!

This Trust has a massive outpatients problem, and its multipke departments, not one.

I'm already disabled, my eye probkem is another disability of days I can't see to get out. I live alone and I'm not one to promote queue jumping, but being disabled/alone I really feel this needs more urgency.
