Having broken my collarbone in a track cycling accident in August 2017, I attended the A&E department at the Royal. This led to a followup visit to the Orthopaedics Department to discuss the x-ray results, and subsequently I was admitted to have surgery to fix the broken bone.
Throughout my treatment I was treated in a professional and friendly manner by all the staff I came into contact with. This included receptionists, A&E staff, x-ray staff, the consultant who performed the operation, his registrar, the nurses, and the physiotherapists who aided my subsequent recovery.
Having finally been discharged in February 2018, I felt it appropriate to submit this review as a thank-you to all the staff involved in my care. I cannot recommend the Royal highly enough.
"Excellent treatment throughout"
