"Day surgery review for umbilical hernia op"

About: Homerton University Hospital / General surgery

I would like to say a big thank you to the staff at the surgical unit (day stay) I came in for a small procedure all the staff was lovley professional and caring to my needs I have a small baby and am still breastfeeding so the staff surgeons made sure to get me in swiftly and discharged when appropriate. I had a lovley nurse attend to me and another lady who I didn't catch her name I would like to say thank you. From my first appointment to the pre op assessment everything worked like clock work as I am I mother I needed to be booked in during half term to make it easier to have support when i called up the bokking line to explain this they was able to find me an appointment for the following week amazing staff!!

Although the nhs resources are so stretched it was a 5 star experience and just reminding me again how important our nhs is thank you homerton hospital
