"Two nights at the Treatment Centre post partial..."

I attended the hospital to have a major gynaecological operation. My expectations were good. I had a previous experience as outpatient with this clinic. Also, I had no other choice, but to trust the medical team to undergo the surgery.

Everything went really well. The surgery, the general anesthesia, the postsurgical recovery period. The hospital accommodation can not be better. I am pleased.

However after all the good experience, I was discharged without a spare wound dressings and any antibiotic, just painkillers. I have a big cut, have diabetes, so presumably I am prone to infectious. I understand that this is the impact of the NHS crisis.
