"Blood clinic - don't bother!!"

About: Aston Healthcare Limited

I have just been over to the surgery for bloods after having taken the day off work to do so! Times for bloods are monday, wednesday, friday 8-12. I went over at 11 to be told they wouldnt see me! Explained my work situation but they were not interested. I'm disgusted! I have been told by the hospital i have to have these done asap but there's no hope of that in this surgery! Oh and my raised blood count was missed by them for years i was never told and nothing ever done! Resulted in me having half of my bowel removed in the end as diagnosis took so long! So would i recommend this surgery...no absolutely not

I am really sorry that you are upset regarding attending for bloods and being told that they wouldn't see you.

Unfortunately, this service is not provided by Aston Healthcare Limited, but North West Boroughs and we have no control over how many patients they see.

We are advised that the times of the clinic are Monday, Wednesday and Friday between 8.30am and 12 noon, but it is at the discretion of the Phlebotomist when they stop seeing patients.

There is a walk-in-service at Nutgrove Villa in Huyton from 7am to 12 noon from Monday to Friday to accommodate people who work. If you wish to discuss the matter further, please contact me, Sue Hughes, on 0151 676 5300
