"A and E visit"

About: Warrington Hospital / Accident and emergency

I found the whole experience poor my wife has a newly diagnosed condition which to be honest is completely debilitating and around one week ago was so bad that was admitted here, the Triage nurse took it upon herself to advise my wife that she too had the same condition and that you just have to get on with it! Not taking into account that the condition is not only new to my wife but quite possibly gotten worse during the 4 months having to wait to see a specialist! Plus is she god can she be certain that there’s not something else going on?? My wife when I got home was in a complete state the out of hours staff also were of the opinion that she needed to be checked out. I’m sorry to have to compare two hospitals only miles apart but the level of understanding care and cleanliness at Whiston completely blows Warrington away!! It does appear that in the general area most people have at some stage had a bad experience with this place, it’s high time they SORT IT OUT!! Some and I do say some of the staff clearly are not cut out for nursing etc !!!!🤨 initially I did not know if the nurse was being helpful or sarcastic due to the fact A and E is for emergencies! However believe me the condition I found my wife in upon arriving in from work most certainly warranted it! I’m not about to play god and neither should Hospital staff better to be safe than sorry! Even more frustrating was to hear this from the nurse clearly meant wasting time! Only to have the waiting room full of drunks!!!! Having given it some thought and spoken to other people I feel I need to write this!
