General practice urgently reffered me to James Cook Hospital on three seperate occassions, no response back after 5 weeks. Informed by James Cook Hospital the Consultant's Secretary was on long term sick leave but the refferal had been sat on the Consultant's desk for over a month without him even looking at it.
Afer further concerns raised from my General Practioner's Surgery to the Consultant regarding time delays, the Consultant has now decided without any communication or contact to downgrade my appointment from Urgent to non-urgent and i have been informed i'll wait even longer now for the appointment.
