"Ent"

About: Manor Hospital / Ear, Nose and Throat

I visited ent on 12th Feb 2018 after a referral from my gp due to having a deviated septum and not being able to breathe through my right nostril.

I did not get to see my consultant has he had to go off to emergency so I had seen a lady doctor. Answered all the questions she asked me and then told her how painful my nose feels. She said they need to look inside with camera so I told her it's going to be painful for me.

She tried first without the numbing spray but was extremely painful then done it with the spray. I had to stop her several times has it was the worst pain I had ever felt. She agreed I had a deviated septum and told me to use a spray for 4 months which I had explained to her I already tried it from my gp and it did nothing plus the spray is not going to straighten my septum. I was told I would be seen in 4 months again to go through the whole painful process again!! Now 3 days later I'm in alot of pain and even went to ent yesterday to ask to be seen by someone had I work for the hospital and no one was available to see me.

I was told to come back the next day and the consultant would see me. I rang this morning and spoke with consultants secretary she informed me that I won't be seen.

I have no had to take the day off sick has my eyes are all puffed up and have alot of pain in my nose and face from the camera been forced into my nose..I not happy at all that I've just been told to use the spray for 4 months and then they may consider surgery.

Why when they know the only way to correct the problem is by surgery so why treat someone with something that is not going to solve the issue.
