About: WestMARC (Glasgow) / Bioengineering clinic

(as a service user),

I get regular support from the Bio-engineers at Westmarc re my wheelchair,mobility needs. The Bio-engineers are backed by other technical/ancillary staff who are also very helpful.

Currently I have been working with Karl & Caroline, I say working with because that reflects an essential aspect of my experience. These staff actively involve myself and my PA in helping to work towards practical and usable solutions. They bring technical expertise, empathy and care and work in a very person centred way. I feel valued and not 'judged', this has not always been my experience of health care.

Westmarc provides an excellent service, in my opinion.
