I started seeing a family support worker shortly after moving from Birmingham to Nottingham, previous to moving I suffered post natal depression and anxiety.

Regardless of support, I wasn't improving with my mental health so I moved to Nottingham. Since moving here, I've had amazing support from my family support worker who goes out of her way to provide me with the support I need and also an ear.

I was placed on a little talkers course, which I thoroughly enjoyed attending with the children, I was able to learn of better methods to interact with children, my 1 year old also improved a lot with his speech which I feel was a benefit of the course. The staff were amazing and kept the children simulated with lots of different activities.

It makes me so proud to read how one of my family support workers has made such a positive difference to you and your family. I will ensure that Marie gets the recognition she deserves

It was also lovely to read how your one year old's speech has imporved and that you have gained new strategies to support your interractions with your children since attending The Little Talkers group with Donna and Becky.

I hope that now the course has finished that you and your children will continue to attend the Children Centre and access the services we offer.
