After 28 years of being a patient at this once enviable surgery, I now fear for the safety of my family and will be leaving the practice as many more before me.
I can only echo everyone's thoughts regarding inability to speak to a human, obtain an appointment, be assessed, or find a receptionist who is not rude, ignorant and indifferent particularly one staff member, who is obviously more used to machinery than people I wager. As a senior clinician within the NHS myself, I am fully aware as to the challenges primary care is faced with every day, but this is unheard of in any other practice across the patch who face the same difficulties but manage admirably. This surgery has rural status and minimal patient ratio per GP thus there should be no issue, as there never was, in obtaining an appointment.
I hope the CCG, CQC, MP or NHS England can do something to bring this once brilliant establishment back into some form of respectable state as it is quite frankly shocking!!
"Disgusting"
