"Emergency operation through A&E"

I bought my 16yr old son through A&E on 13th February. He was seen efficiently and we weren’t left hanging around. The doctor was thorough and explained that he needed an emergency operation. From theatre, he was put into SAU ward 11. The staff during the night whilst we waited for his return from theatre were lovely and helpful, talking us through everything. The ward was spotlessly clean and tidy. Discharge was smooth with a bag full of dressings and explanation of aftercare. We would just like to say thank you to the A&E, evening/night staff on Ward 11 and mainly to one doctor who came in from home to perform the operation and the anaesthetist and nursing staff in theatre for taking care of our son.
