True back to basic Nursing, Tentertive & Caring

Being introduced and asked if there was anything that could be done for me.

The no visitior policy when having meals.

The Discharge Suite I thought was a brilliant idea, lovely reclining chairs, cup of coffee and wheel chaired to the car, excellent idea.

What could be improved

On Terrington Short Stay Ward there was a constant noise from what i can only think was when someone had pressed there call button, but it just went on and on all day and night, i even still heared it in my head when i went home! It was right out side my bay and really drove me to dispear as it did other patients.

Anything else?

Although the Doctors and Nurses answered all my questions, i would have liked to discuss my Asthma with a specialist in that field, but having said that i am sure if i had asked to then it would have been arranged, but when you are not well you don't always think of those things.
