I have just completed the Cardiac rehabilitation course conducted under the supervision of a Clinical nurse specialist in the Gymnasium at Windsor Leisure Centre. She, and her small team of qualified professionals, were super. They take small groups of somewhat hesitant post-operative heart patients around a well thought out circuit of training equipment several times during an hour long session repeated twice a week for 6 weeks.
The end result for my group was outstanding - with all agreeing that our confidence and physical abilities had been enhanced enormously. Our knowledge of our particular physical situations had also been improved and I, for one, have now resumed normal living patterns and in fact am playing my first 18 hole round of golf since the operation this week-end.
Thank you all very much.
