Five years ago we lost our youngest son to a blood clot, and in 2016 our eldest son died from breast cancer at the age of 43.
Our world fell apart but our faith in God was very strong. Our Doctor Souttar was fantastic. He could tell I was hiding my feelings and sent me to speak with the Elderly Mental Health team in Largs.
I see a lovely nurse Sharon in my home, and my husband sees Burt, who comes to the house too. Seeing Dr Barber from Irvine has made a big difference too.
We'll never feel the same way again, but this service has me feeling like there is light at the end of the tunnel. Today was the first time I have gotten up and not wanted to go back to bed,
I swallowed my pride and went for help and now I feel like I can begin to move on and focus on myself and my husband, I can see light ahead and before all I could do was cry. I haven't cried today.
"I feel like there is light ahead"
