What I liked
I want to say that two areas of the hospital are excellent the Bariatic Surgery and the respiratory nurse, I had to have a gastric band removed in very unplesant circumstances and nasty side effects of having the band and the consultant was excellent and re-assured me, I have seen him in clinic since and he has been fantastic... I have battled with my weigh all my life and he has been someone I have complete faith in. Also the respiratory Nurse is fantastic at the L&D, we are very lucky to have such kind, hardworking and skilled people in the L&D, the work of the respiratory nurse has meant I have missed no days off work due to my nasty asthma, first time since 1999 and has meant I have had no colds or chest problems this year. The respiratory nurse has worked hard to improve my health and I owe her a massive thanks.
I do not work for the Hospital before anyone thinks that! (I am a teacher!)... I am just sick of people saying the the Hospital is not very good. There is good and bad in every organisation, and clearly departments are under huge pressure, I think it is important to recognise the excellent practice that occurs in the hospital and say thanks to people who work really hard on our behalf.
What could be improved
Nothing in the departments I have mentioned.
"outstanding treatment by the respiratory..."
