"A big thank you"

About: Royal Cornwall Hospital (Treliske)

My friend Sylvia passed away in Jan, She was looked after most caringly by all the staff on Carnkie Ward, She was 95 years old and spent the last 6 weeks of her life on the ward and passed away very peacefully,,

Many thanks to all who helped her Being a fiercely independent lady it wasn't always easy!!

but you did well

Thank you for posting such wonderful feedback for the Gastro & Liver Unit (formally known as Carnkie) at Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust, especially at what must be a very difficult time for you. Please accept my sincere condolences for the loss of your friend Sylvia.

It is heartening to learn that Sylvia was cared for so well for the last 6 weeks of her life and that staff did everything they could to help her. I will ensure your lovely comments are shared with the Matron so that she can ensure all relevant members of staff who would have helped care for Sylvia also receive your feedback as I know they will be equally pleased to receive it.
