"Trying to get my blood pressure and pain relief"

About: Nems Platform One Practice

So every month I email in to get my pain relief and blood pressure to then get told a week later that some error has occoured. Today however I am told that I need a review which is fair enough however that review is at the end of March or I have to ring at 8am every morning to get a appointment on the same day. When you try this you can not get threw or the appointment has gone. Very little help from reception who just say nothing they can do. I suffer with high blood pressure and back problems none or which can be addressed for another month and a half.

We are sorry to hear that you are disappointed in the service you received from our Practice. We offer a selection of book on the day appointments, pre-bookable appointments, and both early morning and late evening appointments. However, as with most GP surgeries, the demand for appointments has significantly increased which means it can be hard to get through at busy times; and hard to get an appointment which suits an individuals time frame. We have had to introduce more book on the day appointments and limit the pre- bookable appointments due to the high number of appointments which patients book and then fail to attend. Our reception staff receive excellent feedback usually and I am disappointed that you have had a negative experience. So I can investigate this further, please can you contact me as I would like to establish if this is a training issue.
