"An excellent service"

I have been a patient of this practice since it first opened and I have always been more than happy with the service and treatment I have received. The only slight negative as with all surgeries these days is that it can on occasion be a little difficult to get an appointment, however on a couple of occasions when I have had more serious issues the doctor has called me back and arranged for me to attend the surgery later in the day. The first issue was a potential femoral hernia, within a few hours of the initial examination I was seeing a consultant at a local private hospital. The second issue was a very severe oral infection which was extremely painful and debilitating. After the original medication failed to kill off the infection, the doctor spent a considerable amount of time and effort contacting a specialist who came up with appropriate and effective medication which did clear the infection. All this was done late on a Friday afternoon so that the medication could begin to work over the weekend. The doctor I see is always friendly in his manner and is very easy to communicate with leading to a trusting doctor patient relationship.

I have also used the nursing services within the practice and I have found the nursing staff to be pleasant, easy to talk to and efficient in their profession. Reception staff always seem to have a poor reputation but again the staff at AHC are pleasant, easy to deal with and do their utmost to accommodate you where possible.

The acid test is, would ever consider leaving this practice, the answer to that question is no as I am more than happy with the level of service and care I receive at Aylestone Health Centre.
