I took my cousin, who is in a wheelchair, to an appointment at the Cardiology clinic, at the end of December. She has multiple health problems and we are a frequent visitor to various hospitals. Sometimes, I am very disappointed to see that the doctor/consultant barely look at her when speaking, as they are concentrating on reading her medical history, on the screen.
It was therefore a pleasant surprise, when on our visit to a doctor here, she had previously read up before we entered the room and turned her chair, to give her full attention. She was sympathetic and patient and took time to explain, when we were unsure. I would be grateful if you would pass on our gratitude to the doctor. I was delayed writing this, as I had put the piece of paper that I had written her name on, in a 'safe' place.
