What I liked

I attended the Elective Surgery Unit on Friday the !st for a small procedure. From the moment I arrived I was treated extremley well. All the staff were good humoured and professional. The consultant asked me if I was happy to give my consent given it was April Fools day! which I thought was really good . The whole process was excellent I can not praise them enough.

Put simpley anybody who was anxious on arrival would have been put at ease by the team

and I think that is very important At no point was I left uninformed or not understanding what was going to happen next right up to the point of my discharge

What could be improved

In my view nothing could be improved in my case with the possible exception of having to walk past various vending machines on the way to theatre which having fasted that morning seemed a bit cruel

Anything else?

I also had to return o Sunday the 3rd for a MRI Scan and the treatment was every bit as good as the Friday
