I was scheduled for a follow up colonoscopy after having some polyps found around 12 months previously.
The second procedure was at Cannock Hospital part of the Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust, from the initial screening interview to confirm my details after being transferred from the North Staffs hospital at Stoke, I found the whole process very professional, and procedure appointment was booked for less than a week later.
The colonoscopy although experiencing a little discomfort naturally at some point was undertaken by Dr Macabe, who along with the whole of his team in the theater was considerate, knowledgeable, attentive and made me feel at ease.
The follow up care in the recovery ward was friendly and comforting along with the tea and gluten free biscuits.
"Considerate, knowledgeable & attentive."
