"Getting help with occupational therapy"

About: Lanarkshire Community Services / Occupational Therapy

(as a service user),

I was given a recommendation to attend occupational therapy to help with getting a plan with what I wanted to do and help with stress and anxiety among other things, I was nervous about first attending but once there I was made to feel comfortable and helped to create a plan for my future in small easy steps to get me started, all the materials I was given really helped including breathing exercises and a list of meetings I could choose to attend if I wished, everything I was given was extremely helpful and I wasn't pressured to do anything I didn't want to do. I would definitely recommend this service to anyone who feels they need help trying to plan ahead. This was at the buccanan centre in coatbridge
