"Visit to A&E"

About: Eastbourne District General Hospital / Accident and emergency

I had to take my daughter who is nearly 2 to A&E last night. The receptionist was very helpful although he was obviously very busy.

There was a bit of a wait which is not unexpected but we were seen by the triage nurse who was great with my daughter and very kind. We were then sent to the x ray department. The 3 ladies there were brilliant with my daughter who was then really relaxed for her x ray.

My daughter was seen and allowed to go home within 3 hours although everyone was really busy.

My only complaint is about the grumbling and rudeness of a couple of other patients! Every member of staff we came across was very helpful and thorough.

I did not rate about same sex accommodation as I have no idea.
