Went to the LRI (Opthalmology) with my son S.A today. He’d had an injury to his eye and first refused to step inside the hospital after a bad experience at another hospital.. Luckily we were seen pretty soon after we went to the reception and did the pre examinations with a AP. I was absolutely over the moon with the doctor and consultant that saw my son... The first doctor wanted another opinion on her examination so another doctor was called...
I really appreciated that she was so open and told us she was going to call her colleague to have a look. Turned out my son had a membrane on his iris and we aren’t sure if this is due to the trauma or if it’s congenital. Both doctors we absolutely lovely and my son and I felt very much at ease with them both :) Very competent and reassuring indeed :) Thank you :) Please pass the praise on!
"Amazing experience"
