"Outstanding Team Service - Elbow Surgery"

I was placed into Mayflower Ward and was welcomed efficiently and with a warm welcome. Efficient pre op process again handled with complete professionalism but with a personal approach which made me feel important to the team. The consultant explained very clearly the precise process being used and what would happen at each stage. Very well explained in simple terms so I could understand. The op team were again very warm and shared some jokes with me whilst they efficiently prepared the op.The surgeon allowed all the team to complete their tasks and then proceeded to commence the op. With a block fitted I was awake but at no time did I feel anxious or concerned. Just an outstanding team effort for a simple procedure but still made me feel it was handled seriously.

The after care team were also efficient and there was little waiting time between each process.
