About: Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh at Little France / Sleep Medicine

(as the patient),

Sent to the sleep clinic regarding my very bad snoring.

I was so glad that my husband made  me see about it as it was getting me down,I would never stay over at our freinds home due to the noise that I made. Once I did my sleep study and was seen by Dr Bateman who put me on a CPAP machine, I have never looked back .

From the first night I used it ,it changed my life for the better sleeping was good .

I have been to the clinic a few times as to check everything is going well.

I must say this department is worth their weight in gold and have given me back my sleep at bed times and saved my marriage.

Thanks Simon,

I must say that the sleep medicine department take every step to ensure that their patients are looked after and understand how to use the equipment. Nothing is too much trouble they are just a phone call away if you need to call for advice. I have never had this service from a hospital.

The staff again are so fantastic they are always happy when you meet them, even when they are over worked with seeing all these high number of patients with these sleep disorders.
