"My mum's care on ward 7"

About: University Hospital Wishaw / General Medicine (Wards 5 & 8)

(as a relative),

My mum was taken to ward 7 in WGH for some investigations. She was in there for 12 days.  Her care from all nursing staff was very good. Nothing was ever a hassle to them. Mum had to be fed due to poor upper limb function. We were always given up to date information. The staff seem to be run off their feet all the time but still didn't feel as though we were in their way when we had some questions for them.

Thanks

Dear Lainey09

Thank you very much for getting in touch and for your comments in relation to the care your mother received whilst an inpatient here in Ward 7 at University Hospital Wishaw, and indeed at such a worrying time for you and your family. I hope that your mother is recovering well and her health will continue to improve.

Your positive comments are very welcome and I will ensure they are fed back to the staff in Ward 7, who work so hard in ensuring the care we deliver to patients is of a high standard, as well as being compassionate to the families of our patients. I have no doubt they will be delighted for the feedback.

Thank you once again and best wishes to your mother

Faith
