"Less traumatic than I expected!"

What I liked

I had eyelid surgery on Pickford ward as a daycase and was treated very well by all the staff I came into contact with. I ended up waiting 4 hours for my surgery - which was unavoidable due to earlier delays with previous patients and was no-one's fault - and was kept updated by an extremely kind nurse, who even brought my son and I sandwiches and Kit-Kats to keep us going.

All in all, I have absolutely no complaints and am grateful that a nerve-wracking experience was made considerably less so by the care and consideration I received from everyone, including the surgeon.
