"Love and support"

About: Ayrshire Hospice

(as a service user),

I cannot thank the staff of the Ayrshire Hospice enough. Their kindness, care and compassion for my father and his final weeks was first class. This is the most difficult situation that a family can face and this was made so much better by the love and support shown by all staff.

My mother was picked up and taken to visit my dad each day. She was given help and support from staff, a friendly cup of tea, an ear to ease her worries and concerns.

Most importantly in my father's final days both myself and my mother were given accommodation in the family room (including our much loved bulldog)  to be there at all times. This was a lifeline for me as I live on the Isle of Arran and it allowed us to be there at the end, just as my dad had wanted.

Thank you to all staff at the Ayrshire Hospice. We really cannot thank you enough.

Dear physjules,

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience of using Ayrshire Hospice services. It is very important to us to hear your feedback.

I am pleased to hear that your Dad, Mum and your family were supported in a way that helped you all at what must have been a difficult time. I am so sorry for your loss and I would like to let you know that we are still here should you need any further support.

I will share you kind comments with our staff and volunteers.

Thank you,

Kindest regards,

Margaret
