Visited the treatment centre today (Sun 11 Feb) with my 9 month old boy as I was worried he'd developed a chest infection after a cold. Young lady at reception was very polite however the woman at the 'initial assesment' had such a rude unfriendly manner and could definitely benefit from a course on patient care.
When I have visited in the past I'm always made to feel like an inconvenience and that I should have gone to my own GP. My little boy looked as if his cold was getting better therefore I felt it wasn't necessary to go to the GP however he seemed to be getting worse again over the weekend so I took him in on the Sunday. I didn't want to wait till Monday if it was a chest infection.
The Nurse Practioner who saw us had a very arrogant uncaring nature. The waiting time was around 2 hours even though we were third to be seen. Staff standing around chatting. Such a shame really. I hope I never need to use this service again.
"Bad experience, won't be going back!!!"
