"Incompetent treatment"

Our whole experience with Hillbrook was very vague, stressful and useless. My child was referred with what most would perceive to be fairy sever symptoms and we were seen fairly quickly as a result. However, the therapist assigned was the most incompetent person and completely bulldozed my child in every session they met, which was on very few occasions. During their few sessions, discussions were completely controlled by the therapists interests, not the interests of my child and even when they brought up their own issues, the therapist completely ignored the request. My child was also discharged shortly after without any final assessment and they are in a worse state of mind now than when they started- feeling totally unworthy of professional help. The whole experience has been disappointing and a huge shock.
