About: Royal Preston Hospital / Ophthalmology

The staff at the hospital of course are doing their best. But, I have had set appointments again and again and yet even though my time appointment is set I wait 2 hours to be seen. Missed appointments cost the NHS money - well lost working time cost patients money too. It would be appreciated if when an appointment time is set the appointment occurs at most 30mins within the set appointment time.

Ophthalmology is an extremely busy clinic and we do ask patients to allow 2 hours for their appointments.

If you would like to contact our Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) on 01772 522972 they will be able to liaise with the department and obtain much more detailed feedback for you.
