"EPAU worse service ever, worse hospital"

About: Birmingham Women's Hospital / Maternity care

Waited 2 hours after appointment, no information, no dignity, no respect.

Left to wait in a room for hrs with others having a miscarriage.

I work in hospitals, and indeed EPAU and have never seen a worse service.

We are really sorry to read your comments regarding your recent experience in our EPAU department.

We are an emergency department and unfortunately on occasions appointments will be delayed due to this.

We are currently reviewing the ways in which we deal with delays and have started by replacing the notices in our waiting room to reflect this.

Our staff endeavour to keep our patients informed of any delays.

However, we realise this was not the case on the day of your appointment and sincerely apologise for this.

We would welcome the opportunity to speak to you and discuss you concerns in more depth.
