Unfortunately my daughter was taken, by an emergency ambulance, to Whipps Cross Hospital A&E on Friday evening. She was not near home, so this hospital was not familiar to us, but we knew that it had been in "special measures". However, the care she received was excellent and I cannot rate the staff highly enough, particularly the staff nurse on duty in the resuscitation department. The doctor was amazing - although the department was extremely busy (when is the NHS not over stretched?) he was caring, attentive and extremely knowledgeable, answering my many questions. Not once did I feel my daughter was not getting anything other than expert care. All the tests were done, regardless of expense, and fortunately she was able to come home later the next day. Without their expertise, I'm not sure what would have happened.
"A&E charge nurse was amazing!"
