"Thank you for the caring approach"

About: University Hospital Hairmyres / Acute Medical Receiving Unit (AMRU)

(as a service user),

I just want to say thank you to all the wonderful nurses/doctors and ambulance staff in ward 2 and 3 for the caring approach they gave during my husbands recent stay in hospital. He was admitted due to alcohol abuse and this is such a difficult situation for both my husband and his family to deal with. We received excellent care, support and I don't think I could have got through this without them. You all do a marvellous job and just want you all to know how much it is appreciated by patients that you come in contact with. Also the support from the addiction team (Lynsay) is hopefully going to change my husbands life and finally get him off the drink for good. I can't thank you all enough.

Dear Riri,

I am really pleased that you and your families experience was so positive and that you valued the care and support you were given. It is good to receive such feedback please be assured that your comments will be shared with the Ward teams and Lynsay.
