"QEQM A&E experience horrifying"

About: Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother Hospital / Accident and emergency

Shocked & horrified. Sent by GP as an emergency for 84 year old. On arrival, looked like a war zone.Forced to speak to receptionist through as narrow 4 inch gap & had to wait through triage despite GP referral. Once in emergency care ward, completely ignored for approx 3 hours. No information provided whatsoever through entire visit. Staff clearly busy but too embarrassed or untrained to provide basis communication. No confidence whatsoever in outcome, I.e. Go home & revisit GP......
