My GP sent me for an urgent x-ray but probably only gave me one side of the form.

I had trouble finding the phone number for the radiology department on-line but when I phoned them, they were very helpful. A chaming lady explained that I could come down as soon as possible but miight have to wait a while to be fitted in.

I've waited longer past a consultants appointment so I don't think it was that long a wait!

Very nice, friendly people working in the department which is more than can be said for some of the rude and impatient people waiting for an X-ray.

At a time when so much of the NHS is critisized I think the way I was treated was very nice and professional. Well done to the staff there.
