Having arrived in Silverton from London for the Xmas holiday, on 28 Dec (my birthday!) at 4.15am I collapsed in our rented cottage with a worryingly high temperature. After a longish wait (not their fault), the ambulance crew took me to the Royal D and E. Here I was dealt with courteously and expertly by staff who knew exactly what they had to do and lost no time in doing it.. The diagnosis was Flu type A and after a night as an isolated patient my wife was able to drive me to London on the 29th.
So thank you most sincerely Royal D and E - and keep up the god work!
