I recently took ill and was taken to the A & E dept and was seen quite quickly every aspect of my illness was checked out thoroughly and after all my tests were checked I proceeded to go home as I began to leave I felt ill again and the doctor thought that I should be kept in the hospital overnight for observation I was told I would have to wait for a bed to be available, altough it was a long wait and things seemed very busy the staff kept checking on me to see how I was and offered me and my wife some food and a cup of tea which was much appreciated, when I was taken to the assessment ward it was explained to my wife and I was was happening, when my wife left te nursing staff kept checking to see how I was doing, throughout the night I found it hard to sleep due to my circumstances and was appreciateive of the support and care I got from the nursing staff. The next day I had various tests which were done very well in my opinion the staff listened to what I was saying and responded to my views in a positive manner.
My wife and I are very grateful for the care and support we recieved from all the staff and doctors whilst I was there,A very big thank you all THANK YOU!
