"Communication/Administration"

About: Central Middlesex Hospital

There really is a problem at this hospital with communication or lack of it.

Efficiency with regards to administration, I wouldn't even give it a rating.

I know that NHS is in crisis, perhaps Jeremy Hunt should try getting an appointment or even try speaking to someone in the Audiology department of Central Middlesex Hospital.

He may realise the problems start from Ground Zero.

Dear Ms McCoy

Thank you for your feedback and I am very sorry for the difficulties you have had getting through to the Audiology department to speak to someone about your appointment.

Our Audiology appointments are now managed through our recently opened Access Centre. We have unfortunately had some initial difficulties with this with a high level of calls coming in combined with a lack of staff at the moment to answer them effectively. We are however working to address this and are in the process of recruiting more staff to handle the calls that are coming in.

In the meantime, please do contact our PALS team via their email address at LNWH-tr.PALS@nhs.net with your contact details and we will ask that someone contacts you to discuss your appointment.

My apologies again for the troubles you have had and thank you for taking the time to let us know.

Kind regards

Peter Hare

Patient Liaison Manager
